problem in South Florida and throughout the country? They have partnered
up with Scholastic Book Fairs and Clear Channel Radio, for a fund
raising 411-Pain Scholastic read and rise campaign. The 1-800-411-Pain
Scholastic Read and Rise Literacy Campaign, is dedicated to bringing
awareness to this increasing problem, get kids excited about reading,
and to raise money. 1-800-411-Pain has partnered with Scholastic Book
Fairs and Clear Channel Radio, to get the message across that our
children are our future, and without reading skills, they will not reach
their potentials. That is why we host book fairs through our
1-800-411-Pain Scholastic Read and Rise Literacy Campaign.
During our Scholastic Book Fairs, not only are we bringing awareness of
our campaign to your community, but we get kids interested in reading
and learning, along with raising money for the cause. With the money
raised at the fairs, each child that attends receives a $5.00 Reading
Certificate. Which they can use to pick out their own books at their
school's Scholastic Read and Rise Book Fairs. Due to education budget
cuts, more and more programs like these are desperately needed. There
are many schools, that no longer have the funds needed to purchase books
themselves, this is why we began our campaign to get kids reading again!
